On the 70th WCQI in Milwaukee we gave a presentation titled “Social Responsibility Beyond Marketing”. This speech summarizes our vision on sustainability and starts from the many recent scandals we have seen, with the diesel exhaust problem (with or without cheating software) as the biggest eye-catcher. These events gives all companies - also the ones that are seriously concerned about the environment and the future of the planet - a bad name. Behind each advertised activity on sustainability a lie or a twisted truth is suspected.
